The annual 'Twin Towns' croquet challenge between Drouin and Warragul took place on Saturday with Drouin the hosts.
Eight players per club contested the event which included three Drouin players 'on loan' to to fill Warragul's void.
This challenge gives newer players an opportunity to partake in competition outside of the usual weekly social play both clubs provide.
Partners were drawn on the day and contested four games each.
Weather conditions were perfect and a barbeque lunch was provided.
Best combination for Drouin was the Ray Walton-Geina Daley pairing with a day's end score of plus three.
Warragul's best pair was Virginia Shaw and Drouin's Cris Musgrove with plus nine.
In the absence of president Barbara Mitchell, Drouin's secretary Vicky Rogers handed back the trophy to Virginia Shaw after the final result was announced.
Warragul nine wins 100 hoops defeated Drouin six wins 90 hoops.
