1 min read

Warragul Swimming Club enjoyed a successful meet at the 2025 Victorian Short Course Country Swimming Championships in Bendigo.
The club finished in sixth place overall with six gold, six silver, and fourteen bronze medals.
Head coach Paul Myers said the progress shown by swimmers at the club was reason for real excitement.
"Obviously we want our swimmers to achieve excellence, and that's reflected in how many of our swimmers qualified for this meet, which is of a very high standard," he said.
"But we're equally proud of the traits our swimmers demonstrate; their work ethic, their resilience, and the enthusiastic support they give to their teammates – and all of that was on display at this meet."
Mr Myers said success looked different for each swimmer.
"We celebrate medals, personal best times, and even the success of qualifying for the meet. That's part of the culture we've really tried to foster at the club."
