Garfield-Tynong were nigh on unbackable favourites in their round two clash with Yarragon and although the Titans took home a 62-run win, they were forced to dig deep against a committed Panthers outfit.
Batting first, a 77-run second wicket stand between Matthew Dodman (who made a patient 34 before a leading edge off Addison Cumming saw him depart) and Luke Wilson (who struck a host of powerful boundaries including a towering six over mid-wicket on his way to 50) laid the foundation for Garfield-Tynong, who posted 9/152 from their allotted overs.
