1 min read

Clear out your Sunday schedule, folks.
The Gippsland League has released its official fixture for the 2026 season, featuring a host of new Sunday games.
Local rivals Warragul and Drouin will play the first of two Western Derby match-ups in round one, which also will see Leongatha unfurl its 2025 senior football premiership flag at home against Moe.
Round one also will see Traralgon host Bairnsdale in a rare night game.
Eight of the season's 18 rounds will feature at least one Sunday for a total of 13 games, up from just three in 2025.
Other highlighted rounds include mental health awareness round in round two, ANZAC round in round three which will see two Saturday night games and three Sunday games, and indigenous round in round 12.
Rounds five and six will be split rounds while there will be a league bye on the July 4 weekend.
Due to ground resurfacing works at Ted Summerton Reserve, Moe will be unable to play at home for the first half of the season. Locations of the club's scheduled home games will be announced at a later date.
