This adjustment followed Southern United's use of the "player with less" dispensation rule to ensure fair play.
In a spirited and closely contested game, the Strikers came out on top with a commanding 5–1 victory. Tyler Boltong led the charge with an impressive hat-trick, while Joshua Smorenburg added two more goals to the scoreboard.

Croydon's Scott Setford then hit the board and at half time, it was 1-1.
After the break and a little more banter the teams got on with the second half. The game went up and back countless times with no score from either side.
The Strikers now remain undefeated after three games.
