For the first time since 2018 the West Gippsland Strikers have a new premiership flag to hang in their brand new club rooms!
On Friday night the under 14 team won their Grand Final in the mixed district SE competition against a tough ECHO outfit at the Hawthorn Hockey Club.
After dominating the competition in an unbeaten season they went in as strong favourites. They didn't look like it in the first half as ECHO pounced early and for the first time all season the Strikers realised what real pressure was.
