Stars move past Magpies

Garfield fought through a howling wind and a stubborn Dalyston defence to record a 15-point win at home on Saturday.
The conditions may have been breezy but the game was anything but for the Stars, who were able to slug it out for longer and earn their fourth win of the season 10.11 (71) to 8.8 (56).
Pinpoint accuracy proved tough for both teams as they dealt with a gale moving across the expanses of the Garfield Recreation Reserve. The boundary umpires on the far wing must've felt pretty at ease given how many out on the full frees they got to pay and letting avoid the strain of a throw-in.
