Seeing double
1 min read

As they used to say on the Discovery Channel, myth busted.
Star AFL twins and Warragul products Harry and Ben McKay played their first match against one another during Sunday night's blockbuster between Carlton and Essendon, proving once and for all they are in fact two separate people.
Harry, a key forward for Carlton, and Ben, a key back for North Melbourne and now Essendon, have long been the subject of a running joke online they aren't actually two brothers but instead the same person playing for two teams.
This was due to the fact that despite having been drafted in 2015, the two had never actually played against one another for a variety of reasons, whether it be through injury, form, suspension or illness.
That all came to an end on Sunday when the two lined up on each other at the first bounce.
The pair grew up locally, playing together for the Warragul Blues and Warragul Football Club before being drafted.
Harry finished his night with just the one goal in a win for the Blues, although it was from a free kick given away by Ben in the first quarter.
Despite the video proof, some online commenters still maintained the brothers are the same person, accusing the AFL of using artificial intelligence to further their agenda.
