The Warragul and District Netball Association officially kicked off its latest summer season at the Burke St courts last Monday night.
Federal Member for Monash Mary Aldred was on hand to help launch the new season, which is set to feature 115 teams, more than 70 umpires and about 1000 competitors - a new record for the association.
The Monday night competition will see players of all ages and genders take to the 10 courts in a variety of different sections.
The program also includes grassroots development for 36 children aged between five to seven who are enrolled in the 'Net Set Go' program to help encourage the next generation of players.
