The Gippsland League has officially announced the venues for its upcoming finals series.
In an effort to keep the finals as centralised as possible and minimise the distance travelled by the various teams, the primary venues will be the Ted Summerton Reserve in Moe, the Morwell Recreation Reserve and the Traralgon Showgrounds.
The Ted Summerton Reserve will play host to the 2022 grand final, making it the first time since 2017 that Moe has hosted the big game.
The finals dates and venues are as follows:
Week one - August 27 and 28:
Qualifying final - Morwell Recreation Reserve
Elimination final - Traralgon Showgrounds
Week two - September 3 and 4:
Second semi final - Ted Summerton Reserve
First semi final - Traralgon Showgrounds
Week three - September 10:
Preliminary final - Morwell Recreation Reserve
Week four - September 17:
Grand final - Ted Summerton Reserve
