France based professional cyclist and local Cyrus Monk is used to spending hours on end on his bike either training or competing in road racing events across the globe.
However, on Friday and Sunday he mixed up his off-season regime by completing two very different feats of endurance to help raise funds for cancer research.
On Friday, Cyrus and five mates took part in "The Longest Day" at Garfield Golf Club. The Longest Day requires participants to play 72 holes of golf (four rounds) in one day.
The event is held across Australia to raise money for the Australian Cancer Council and as well as having to swing a golf club close to 300 times, competitors are required to walk around 40 kilometres from when they tee off at dawn until finishing late in the afternoon.
Cyrus and his friends completed golf's hardest challenge in tropical c
