ANY doubts over Buln Buln being the team to beat in Ellinbank District football have been slightly quelled, the Lyrebirds comfortably accounting for 2022 grand final rival Neerim-Neerim South.
Having prevailed by just four-points earlier this season, the Lyrebirds controlled the contest from start to finish to win 16-13 (109) to 6-5 (41) in a big statement.
Six goals to one in the first term set the Lyrebirds on their way and while an even second term followed with three goal apiece, it allowed the home side a handy 35-point buffer at the long break.
