Local cricketers became Longwarry Bowling Club's new cheer squad as the division one side battled Traralgon on Saturday at the "Dome".
The match was played in good spirit but, despite Longwarry winning two of the four rinks, the cheer squad couldn't quite get the home side over the line.
A majority of games were called off across the district due to the wet weather. However, Longwarry's roof enabled this game to go ahead.
The division three team headed off to Yinnar, but only got in a few ends before the rain.
Division six transferred their game against Boolara to Longwarry. Welcomed Darren Van Den Berghe and Heather Cumpstey into the team, they won 74/55. Despite this good win, the scores didn't count as it was the only match in the division to be played.
