The stars of the future were named as the champions of the now last week when the West Gippsland Junior Football Competition hosted its best and fairest awards last week in Warragul.
The Warragul Blues enjoyed a strong presence on the night, with five different players taking home trophies.
Award winners are as follows:
Under 12 girls: best and fairest Chloe Varty (Nar Nar Goon) and Xanthe Dalton (Blues), runner-up Marley Nooy (Drouin).
Under 14 girls: best and fairest Abbey Wilson (Warranor), runner-up Zaria Dalton (Blues).
Under 12 mixed: best and fairest Oliver Flegg (Nar Nar Goon), runner-up Lenny Barake (Blues).
Under 14 mixed: best and fairest Ky Bannister (Blues), runner-up Alex-Ingham (Blues).
Most disciplined club: Nar Nar Goon.
Best first year junior field umpire: Indie-Rose Hayes (Gippsland Umpires Association).
