A heavily depleted Warragul Industrials put a tough week behind them on Saturday as they scrapped and fought to a much-needed eight-point win over Korumburra Bena.
Goals came at a premium at the Korumburra Showgrounds when the Dusties faced a stern challenge from the struggling Giants, who sensed an opportunity against a wounded opposition.
Though things were kept uncomfortably close for a lot of the day in large part due to the Dusties' inaccuracy in front of goal, the visitors were able to hold firm 8.14 (62) to 8.6 (54).
It's a vital four points for the club after two poor weeks on the field has left their spot in the top six looking more vulnerable than it did not that long ago.
