Lucy McKellar had an outstanding game in goal defence, applying loads of pressure and connecting well with the attack end. In the goal circle, Charlize Traumanis had another strong performance in goal shooter, shooting at 82 per cent accuracy.
It was a full team effort and credit to the bare seven who got it done with no rotations.

Jemma Maloney played her first game after a few weeks out due to injury. She used her speed and agility in wing attack to get the ball on the circle edge, feeding the goalers beautifully.
Leilani Lightowler demonstrated her resilience and grit in the centre, running hard as always and giving it her all across the game.
Awards: Cleo Traumanis, Jemma Maloney and Leilani Lightowler.

Defensively, Drouin worked cohesively as a unit, experimenting with different strategies on the centre pass. They worked hard to attack the front ball in the defensive ring.
