Warragul Football Netball Club got involved in Moe Football Netball Club's annual DIY Big Freeze event on Saturday to raise funds for the fight against motor neurone disease (MND).
Former Gulls player and president Leigh Sheehan, who also played for Moe, as well as a variety of local sporting figures, celebrities and politicians enjoyed a cold dunk into some icy water as part of the occasion, which takes after yesterday's Big Freeze slide at the MCG.
A bumper crowd were in attendance to then watch the Lions take home wins in both A grade netball and senior football.
Moe have a personal connection to the day, with Neale Daniher's son Ben a part of the Lions' senior side.
Other members of the Daniher family were on hand to get around Ben and the day as a whole, which has so far raised more than $3000 for FightMND online with plenty of donations to be tallied.
Moe would go on to win both the senior football and A grade matches, the latter being a top of the table thriller.
