ELLINBANK continued the form that has seen it rocket into Ellinbank District football premiership contention, brushing aside finals aspirant Poowong.
Persistent rain experienced across the four quarters of the match did little to slow Ellinbank's scoring power, as they kicked away to win 15-9 (99) to 9-9 (63).
The contenders have now firmed to three with the likes of Ellinbank, Buln Buln and Neerim-Neerim South seemingly having a little two much for the mid-pack teams vying to join them in the finals.
