The Warragul Industrials divison one team hosted third placed Karingal on Saturday in a close game, resulting in a 32-31 win for the Dusties.
It was an important game, as a win for Karingal would keep them in contention for second spot. Karingal have been the big improvers in the league this year, courtesy of several talented players coming up from their youth girls, several NAB players and they were able to recruit Hayley Monk, who was the 2024 leading goal kicker in the MPFNL.
Both sides had several players out injured but the game still promised to be a fierce contest.
