Drouin Tennis Club on the map
1 min read

The Drouin Tennis Club has gone down swinging in what was a highly successful inaugural season in the Victorian Pennant Competiton.
A statewide fixture featuring more than 3,500 players and 150 clubs, the competition brings together players from all parts of the state to compete against one another in both doubles and singles.
Drouin's grade eight men's team featured in a semi final on Saturday, going down in an agonisingly close loss to Kyneton District. The teams finished even on rubbers and sets with Drouin falling short by six games.
The result sees the Drouin team conclude their season in third position out of 32 teams.
Club officials are already keen for the next season to begin to show off Drouin's wares to the rest of the state once again.
The grade eight team consisted of Shaun Jacobs, Fletcher Nilsson, Rowan White, Riley Nave, James Harman, Chris Nave and Riley O'Brien.
