Dominant day for Dusties

Warragul Industrials have secured a valuable boost in percentage after wiping Pearcedale off the park on Saturday.
Despite having to play what was a Dusties home game on Pearcedale's reserve, Warragul Industrials proved far too strong past quarter time, winning 18.17 (125) to 1.1 (7).
On a cold afternoon with some light showers, Pearcedale won the toss and elected to kick with the wind.
The young Panthers, still searching for their first win of the year, began the day brightly with some strong link-up plays from their backline to their forward 50.
Despite the Pearcedale efforts and the wind against them, the Dusties girls wrestled back momentum to take a 2.4 to 1.0 lead at quarter time.
Some reminders about holding structure and lowering the eyes when delivering into forward 50 saw the Dusties pile on six unanswered goals in the second quarter.
Warragul Industrials did not let up in the third with their best quarter of the day, kicking six goals against the wind through excellent ball movement and great forward pressure.
Match highlights were the return of gun forward Kelly O'Neill who kicked three goals in her return game.
Kelly has played at the highest level and brings a wealth of experience to the Dusties group. There were nine goalkickers in the win which shows an ability to score through multiple avenues.
The biggest highlight was that all players had an impact on the game with many girls playing their best game for the year so far.
Best players for the day were Alisha Molesworth, Lily Van Berkel, Abbie Hoiberg-Cox, Jess Szalek, Kaitlyn Carew and Kelly O'Neill.
This Saturday the division one team takes on the talented young Karingal side who will come in off the back of a twenty goal win over Bonbeach.
Unfortunately, the Dusties division two side did not get to play as Frankston forfeited due to lack of numbers. The division two team will also play Karingal on Saturday.
Both teams will be playing in Karingal. Division two will begin at 12pm at while division one kicks off at 2pm.
