Neerim-Neerim South again demonstrated why they are the best side in the competition, comfortably accounting for Longwarry 17-9 (111) to 7-15 (57).
The Crows had little answers as the Cats piled on the first seven goals of the contest.
A nice gather and goal from Aaron Hillberg opened proceedings before Mason McGarrity converted from the lead for the first of his five goals.
He followed up with a long goal before Kody Wilson put through a nice snap running towards the boundary as the Cats began to kick away.
Lachlan Bambridge put through the first of his five majors as the Cats took an impressive 28-point buffer into the first change.
Four of the next five goals, finished by a nice set shot from half forward by Bambridge, saw the Cats in control of the contest.
Jason Wells, well held for much of the contest, escaped over the back to soccer through the first for the Crows. Missed opportunities continued to hurt Longwarry as the Cats added the first two goals of the second half.
A 50-metre penalty helped coach Darren Granger break through as the Crows put through consecutive goals for the first time.
The Cats went on another run, McGarrity marking over the back and snapping truly before Bambridge converted from centre half forward to open a 44-point buffer at the final change.
Bambridge, Tyssen Morrow, Lachlan Guy, Tyler Pratt, Ashley Lockett and Tom Muir helped the Cats to a winning position.
Angus Adamiak, Fintan Fox, Bailey Werle, Bailey Stephens, Angus Young and Brayden Chandler continued to compete as the Crows closed out with three goals to four.
The sides traded goals in a competitive finish, McGarrity closing it by rolling through his fifth goal.
