NEERIM-NEERIM SOUTH scored a comfortable victory over Ellinbank in the preliminary final, winning 12-8 (80) to 4-8 (32) to advance to the decider against Buln Buln.
The result confirmed the Cats are clearly among the top two in it, despite circumstances forcing them to advance the long way through an elimination final.
Still, the Cats entered the contest weary of the threat Ellinbank posed to their desire to book a place in the grand final to defend their season 2022 title.

Ryan Atherton took his place in an unchanged Ellinbank line up despite
