The Cassidy Crew put their footy skills to the test recently as they joined the Longwarry Football Netball Club for a training session earlier this month.
Handballing, marking and most importantly kicking goals were among the drills on offer for five of the organisation's participants as well as their support workers as they got to live out some of their football dreams on the field.
The opportunity came about thanks to a support worker at the Cassidy Crew who is involved at Longwarry..
Longwarry senior coach Darren Granger facilitated the session, putting the participants through their paces alongside several senior footballers.
The group made the crew feel welcome, encouraging and supporting them and even having a laugh when one of their kicks managed to land on top of Darren's head.
After kicking snags on the field the crew got stuck into a post-session serving of some real snags, thanking the Crows for showing them a thing or two.
