Buln Buln climbed into the Ellinbank District football top five after claiming another top four scalp.
A stunning second half surge saw the Lyrebirds run over the top of Lang Lang after being held goalless to half time, winning 6-8 (44) to 5-9 (39).
It took until the 20-minute mark for the first goal, coming through the agency of Tigers captain Cameron Brown.
Josh Brown kicked truly to begin the second quarter before Marc Holt scored approaching time on for an even three-goal lead heading into the long break.
The arm wrestle continued in the third term before Trent Baker and Dylan Gallasch traded majors in a flurry.
Consecutive goals in just over one-minute during time on saw the Lyrebirds close the margin to five-points at the final change.
Daniel Axford, Matthew Gray, Will Battley, Trent Baker, Shaun Beecroft and Jackson Kos were helping keep Buln Buln in the contest.
Helping the Tigers to a narrow lead were Josh Brown, Daniel Vela, Kyle Van der pluym, Dylan Wilson, Troy Dolan and Liam Casey.
The Tigers attacked to open the final quarter but failed to convert until Holt kicked truly at the seven-minute mark, opening a handy 13-point lead given the low scoring nature of the contest.
Lyrebirds coach Sam Batson closed the gap approaching the 15th minute, giving the visitors hope.
Trent Baker closed the gap to just two-points to begin time on, before Bailey Leatham scored two-minutes later to put the Lyrebirds in front.
