Bombers pass Panthers

by Davyd Reid
A second quarter surge helped Nilma-Darnum prevail over the higher ranked Yarragon, 9-7 (61) to 5-13 (43).
While Brett Coghill opened proceedings with a long goal from 50 metres, the Panthers conceded a run of seven consecutive goals to the Bombers to fall 34-points in arrears at the long break.
Missed opportunities also proved costly, with Braydon Preuss a big omission away in Queensland for a friend's wedding.
