We entered the last round of Mid Gippsland football with seven clubs set to have their seasons end and six clubs set to commence finals footy.
Thorpdale v Morwell East
Touted as possibly the match of the round between two of the big improvers, the Blues and Hawks clashed, with the result capable of turning Morwell East's season on its head.
In the end, Thorpdale kicked 6.14-50 to Morwell East 6.4-40.
