Local Cheryl Taafe has been racking up the numbers left, right and centre after recently completing her 400th Warragul parkrun on Saturday.
It marks her second milestone in recent weeks after reaching 450 parkruns overall two weeks ago.
Cheryl has been a longtime patron of the local parkrun after joining on its second ever edition just over a decade ago.
"My daughter and son-in-law did the first one and then told me they thought it would be something I should do. I said I can't really run 5km but they said no you can walk or jog it. I said oh, maybe," she said.
After joining her first parkrun it didn't take long for Cheryl to become hooked.
Most Saturday mornings she'll be there, a smile on her face and ready to walk another 5km.
She's now well ahead of her daughter and son-in-law in terms of parkruns completed despite them being much faster runners.
Cheryl's favourite aspect of parkrun has been the social aspect, getting to make friends and take on challenges together.
"You meet new people and you get quite addicted. It's a good start to the week," she said.
Cheryl also has been a keen volunteer, helping to keep parkrun going through the years and donating her time whenever she can.
She is now eyeing off 500 parkruns, a major milestone for someone who was "actually surprised I made it this far."
