Discover dinosaurs, get on the move or join a "children's day out" as Baw Baw Shire host a series of free pop-up playgroup sessions this spring.
Children's Week will be celebrated today (Tuesday) with a "children's day out" session in Warragul's Burke St Park from 10am to 1pm.
Free sessions will follow in Drouin, Longwarry and Warragul in the coming months, with each centred around a fun and engaging theme.

All young families are invited to join the pop-up playgroup sessions offering guided activities, crafts, music, story time and free play for all children to enjoy.
East ward councillor Kate Wilson said the playgroups were a fantastic way for young families to blend fun with community and connection.
"With warmer weather on the horizon, now is a great time to join in the many upcoming playgroup sessions," Cr Wilson said. "It's free to come along and you don't need to book. Come along with your little ones or come with a group to share in a morning of fun."
Sessions are suitable for children aged up to five-years-old. Parents and carers are required to actively supervise children throughout.
In addition to today's session in Warragul, upcoming pop-up playgroups include: "park time fun" in Drouin's Civic Park on Thursday, October 30 from 10am to 11.30am; "on the move day" at Longwarry Kindergarten on Wednesday, November 12 from 10am to 11.30am; and, "dinosaur discovery" at Family and Children's Playgroup in George St, Warragul on Tuesday, November 25 from 10am to 11.30am.
Two sessions also will be held in December, with a "water play fun" session on Thursday, December 4 in Drouin's Civic Park from 10am to 11.30am and a Christmas celebration at the Family and Children's Playgroup in Warragul on Friday, December 12 from 10am to noon.
