Simple sign switch not supported

A tourism association has called for a swap of Baw Baw Shire welcome signage set to be installed along the Princes Fwy.
However, the shire has indicated it will forge ahead with its original decision, noting the signage was not directional and images were selected due to proximity.
Whilst welcoming an image of Walhalla being selected for one of the two new welcome signs, Walhalla and Mountain Rivers Tourism Association requested a location swap to avoid confusing tourists.
Association president Michael Leaney said the turn off to Walhalla was in Moe - some 1.8km behind the westbound entry sign featuring the historic township.
