1 min read

A Fumina South man was arrested last week in relation to an alleged hit and run collision in Waterloo Rd, Trafalgar.
It followed a man's body being located by a passing motorist on the side of the road at about 10am on Sunday, July 28.
The identity of the man remained a mystery for most of last week. However, police have now confirmed he was a 53-year-old from Morwell.
Police said a Fumina South man self-presented at a police station on Tuesday night.
Just hours prior, Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives had released CCTV footage of a medium rigid white truck driving east on Waterloo Rd.
The footage was dated Saturday, July 27 at 7.10pm.
They alleged the Morwell man was struck by a truck on Waterloo Rd, east of Davey Drv, sometime overnight on Saturday, or early on Sunday morning.
Relying on community assistance to piece together what happened, detectives urged the driver to come forward.
Police said the Fumina South man was arrested but has since been released pending further enquiries.
