Residents faced an almost two minute longer wait for an ambulance during a medical emergency in Baw Baw Shire in recent months, according to new data.
And, code two wait times increased by three minutes.
Ambulance Victoria (AV) released its latest response times last week, revealing 971 code one calls across the Baw Baw local government area between April and June.
The figure represented a slight drop on the 1000 calls at the same time last year but was up on the 904 for the previous three months.
However, the average "lights and sirens" response time was 17 minutes
