Warragul had a big A grade win and two junior wins on Saturday.
A grade: Warragul 87 defeated Wonthaggi 30
It was another strong outing by the Gulls on the weekend. The girls started the game strong with a 22-goal first quarter.
Relentless defence provided lots of ball for the attacking end, which converted seamlessly with the goal circle.
The Gulls kept their foot on the pedal and pushed the lead out even more each quarter. The different combinations put on court throughout the game showcased the depth of the Gulls.

B grade: Warragul 39 lost to Wonthaggi 41
Warragul delivered a spirited performance but ultimately fell to Wonthaggi by two goals in a closely contested match.
Despite the outcome, the Gulls displayed commendable determination, with strong defensive pressure and several momentum swings contributing to a thrilling encounter.
The game was evenly matched early on, as both teams applied intense pressure. Warragul's defence held firm for much of the match, successfully repelling repeated attacks and keeping the team in the game.
A pivotal moment came in the third quarter when Wonthaggi shifted into a higher gear.
The team fought valiantly until the final siren, showing resilience and tenacity throughout.
It was fantastic to provide our talented juniors with an opportunity to shine.

C grade: Warragul 28 lost to Wonthaggi 55
Warragul came out firing in the first quarter, showing excellent teamwork and intensity across the court. Quick ball movement and strong defensive pressure kept the scores tight early on, with some sharp shooting and great intercepts helping the Gulls match the opposition goal-for-goal.
As the game progressed, Power lifted their intensity and applied consistent pressure across all thirds. Despite their best efforts and some determined passages of play, fatigue began to set in for the Gulls and turnovers proved costly.

17 and under: Warragul 38 lost to Wonthaggi 41
This was a tight game played in sunny conditions. The Gulls played well together, maintaining defensive pressure with multiple turnovers as a result of held balls in their favour.
The girls were strong in contesting every ball and transitions were rapid.
The team should be proud of being able to keep focus and maintain composure. They come away with positive things to continue to build upon and take to future games.

15 and under: Warragul 78 defeated Wonthaggi 8
From the first whistle, the Gulls set off to a flying start with fast, fierce competitive netball.
The defensive pressure all over the court was super impressive and the attack end converted these turnovers into goals.
Everyone was backing one another, with confidence and skills on display in every position.
Great teamwork, continued defensive pressure and great attacking plays increased the lead and the Gulls came away with the win.

13 and under: Warragul 22 defeated Wonthaggi 21
In Bella Senini's 50th game, the girls had an unforgettable win - their first in two years and only the second in three.
Every one of Warragul's nine players were awarded best on court in what can only be described as the most incredible game of the year.
Determination, heart and teamwork took this one home. Coaches were brought to tears and could not have been prouder.
The girls gave a huge thank you to the senior girls who were cheering them on, especially Bella Hefford for her junior buddy Bella Senini.
