Founding members of the Community Bank Neerim District recently returned to celebrate the legacy they helped build - 25 years after its opening.
Almost 20 years after the last banking service closed its doors in the Neerim District, community members gather on Saturday, July 15 to celebrate the opening of their self-funded branch of the Bendigo Bank.
The celebration was held at Neeri Nuff Wine Bar and Kitchen in Neerim South, which was where the Community Bank branch was first located before moving to a new, purpose-built headquarters in 2013.
