Our history
Snapshot of the past

An undated photograph of sheep grazing in a paddock in the middle of Drouin.
The sheep are grazing on land on the corner of Young St and Hope St, approximately where McDonalds is now.
The brick and timber buildings at the top of the hill are in Sinclair St and belonged to the Methodist church.
The smaller timber one was built in 1886 to replace a smaller one built in 1880. The brick building was built sometime around 1886, and is now the Uniting church.

The group's volunteers collect, document, research, preserve and exhibit items that reflect life in Drouin and surrounding districts.
