Detectives had a win against youths stealing cars when a 16-year-old boy from Baw Baw was refused bail last week.
The boy was one of three teenagers arrested when stop sticks were deployed to halt a stolen car on the Strzelecki Hwy on Wednesday. He will return to Children's Court today.
The incident was not an isolated one.
Just last month, three boys aged 16 to 13-years-old were arrested at Darnum in a stolen car.
In April, three teenagers aged 13 to 15-year-old from Baw Baw and Latrobe were arrested in a stolen vehicle in the Warragul Leisure Centre carpark.
And, in February, three boys aged 13 to 15-years-old from Baw Baw and Latrobe were involved in a collision in Sutton St whilst allegedly driving a stolen car.
