A woman has been arrested after donated items were stolen from a Neerim South church.
Police said a 27-year-old Neerim woman was arrested and charged following the theft at St John's Anglican Church on Tuesday, September 23.
It is expected she will be summoned to face Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court at a later date.
Police allege donated items left at the back door of a shed at the Main Neerim Rd church were rummaged through at about 5am.
It is believed several trips were made to transfer the items, donated to the church's op shop, to a vehicle nearby.
