Trafalgar police are calling for witnesses to an assault at Yarragon Weighbridge on Monday, August 4.
A truck driver reported being assaulted by two men wearing balaclavas at the Princes Hwy site at about 8pm.
Police believe the driver was exiting his truck after pulling into the west-bound weighbridge when he was struck on the head, causing the driver to drop his wallet.
The offender allegedly picked it up, looked through and then discarded it.
The driver reported a second man, allegedly armed with a baseball bat, damaged his truck. An indicator on the truck was broken.
Police believe the two men left the weighbridge in a burgundy sedan with no registration plates.
