Vandals have cut swathes through parts of a feature garden in Warragul's Civic Park.
The attacks have been to the Chinese Gardens on the north-west corner of the park that was opened in 1996 to mark the twin city friendship between Warragul and the Chinese City of Jiujiang.
Vegetation including trees have been sawn and broken off for six illegal BMX jump tracks to be formed through the steep garden, with a series of cascading dry stone retaining walls used as jumps.
Sections of the retaining walls also have been damaged and rocks dislodged.
