Tickets on sale for Mindfull masterclass

A business luncheon will call on business owners to prioritise mental health when it is held in Warragul on Friday, June 6.
"Running a business is rewarding, but it's also demanding," said Mindfull Aus chief executive officer Matt Runnalls. "Stress, overwhelm and burnout can creep in, leaving mental health on the back burner. Let's change that."
Baw Baw Shire is partnering with Mindfull Aus to deliver the business luncheon, focused on building resilient and mentally strong workplaces.
And, with tickets just $15 per person or $110 for a table of eight for the two-course luncheon and masterclass, spaces are expected to fill quickly.
The three-hour event will feature expert speakers who understand the unique pressures faced by business owners.
Keynote speaker Melissa Yu of Mindfull Aus will talk about building resilient teams and prioritising mental health for a thriving workplace. Mr Runnalls will share insights into a healthy workplace and what tools and supports are available to local businesses.
Attendees also will gain tools to foster meaningful conversations, strategies to reduce stress and practical advice to protect mental wellbeing.
Baw Baw Shire mayor Danny Goss encouraged all local businesses and employers to book a seat or a table and join the conversation.
"We're grateful for the opportunity to partner with Mindfull Aus to offer valuable business workshops that will help empower our local business community to create resilient, happy, healthy and thriving workplaces", Cr Goss said. "With less than a month to go until registrations close, now is the time to invest in the wellbeing of yourself, your staff and your broader business."
Mr Runnalls said businesses should not miss this chance to connect, recharge and invest in their wellbeing.
"For every $1 invested in mental health in the workplace, there is a return of $4 in improved health and productivity," he said. "Let's create a healthier, more resilient business community - together."
The luncheon, running from noon to 3pm, is open to all businesses, regardless of size or financial turnover. It forms part of the "Be Business Ready" series of workshops hosted by Baw Baw Shire with support from the state government's "Council Flood Support Fund".
