At least 10 vehicles were reported damaged in the Drouin central business district last Tuesday morning.
Police arrested a 38-year-old Drouin man in relation to the damage in the vicinity of Young St. However, believing more vehicles may have been impacted, police are appealing for any further victims to make a report.
Police allege the man used a tool to scratch at least 10 vehicles in two carparks off Young St between 10am and 10.15am.
Vehicles damaged within the vicinity of the McDonald's carpark included a Mitsubishi Triton, Nissan Navara and Nissan Qashqai.
In a carpark opposite, towards Woolworths, owners of a Lexus 4WD, Mitsubishi sedan, Ford Ranger, Mazda CX5, Mazda CX9, MG sedan and Hyundai Tucson all reported varying damage.
Police are investigating if a vehicle damaged in Sinclair St and rocks thrown through windows at two premises also were linked.
The vehicle was damaged with a tool whilst parked in the vicinity of the Drouin fire station on Tuesday between 8am and 6pm.
A rock was reportedly thrown through a large window at the Drouin Uniting Church hall in Sinclair St at about 10am on Tuesday. Damage was valued at $1000.
Similarly, a rock was allegedly thrown through a window of a retail property in Young St, causing $1000 of damage. It was discovered at 11am on Tuesday but could have occurred anytime after noon on Sunday, August 24.
Police said the 38-year-old man was arrested and interviewed in related to the vehicle damages in Young St. He was released pending summons to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court at a later date.
