Warragul's excellence in small business awards are on again.
Conducted by Warragul Rotary Club, nominations are now open for the awards that are recognition of small businesses in the district that provide outstanding service to their customers.
People can nominate businesses that have up to 10 employees and operate in the Warragul, Buln Buln and Jindivick postcode areas.
Applications close on May 16 with forms available at www.warragulrotary.org.au, Suzys Fine Jewellery at 52 Smith St, and Advantage Pharmacy at 27 Victoria St.
Rotary president Tony Carson emphasised the awards were not a competition, rather a way to recognise the service of the many small businesses in the district including those that were sole traders.
Various aspects of businesses' operations will be taken into account including customer service, ethics, approach, attitude, commitment, dedications, safety, initiative and reliability.
All nominated business will receive a framed certificate they can display.
