Despite a repair bill of about $8.9 million, funds are yet to be allocated or a specific timeline set for the Poowong East landslip works.
South Gippsland Shire acting chief executive officer Tony Peterson confirmed council had made a submission with Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements for funding to complete the repair works.
"Council registered the landslip as soon as the event was declared an emergency event," Mr Peterson said. "Due to the nature of the landslip and the extensive damage, this landslip needs to be completed under Reconstruction of Essential Public Asset (REPA) funding.
