A 26-year-old Rawson man was arrested after allegedly crashing a stolen vehicle into Chadstone Shopping Centre yesterday morning.
Police said a stolen Hyundai was followed via Air Wing through multiple suburbs before it crashed at Malvern East.
They said the vehicle was tracked to an underground carpark at Chadstone Shopping Centre.
It is believed the driver jumped from the moving vehicle, before it crashed into a carpark wall. There were no injuries.
Police said officers chased the driver on foot through the shopping centre where he was arrested.
The 26-year-old Rawson man was taken into custody and will be interviewed by detectives.
The Hyundai was reported stolen from Doncaster on Thursday.
