Pothole causes five-hour wait

A local driver caught up in the Princes Fwy pothole debacle on Saturday was left waiting five hours for a tyre change.
Michelle Snape was amongst a reported 28 vehicles left stranded on the freeway at Nar Nar Goon after hitting a pothole in wet and gloomy conditions. Although, the Warragul resident believes "the number is more like 50 cars."
"It was just awful," she said.
Estimating a repair bill of $2500, Ms Snape said her passenger front wheel was damaged after hitting a pothole at 4.15pm.
"You just don't see it," she said. "Even if you'd swerved around it, that's dangerous."
