Police are urging community members to lock their vehicles, garages and homes following more thefts from cars.
A laptop and a Kathmandu jacket valued at about $1000 were reported stolen from a Havel utility overnight on Monday, September 15.
The vehicle was parked in the driveway of a residential property in Sinclair St, Warragul. The owner returned to the vehicle to find the glove box and centre console rummaged through.
In a separate incident, spare change was taken from the centre console of a white Nissan X-Trail parked in Holstein St, Drouin.
The incident occurred at around 10am on Friday October 3.
Police reminded community members to ensure valuables were removed from vehicles.
