A "complicated" count has left Monash voters without an election result.
In unique circumstances for the Monash electorate, which is traditionally declared on election night, the result remains unknown one week after the federal election.
The Australian Electoral Commission yesterday confirmed it was currently evaluating the Monash count, which it described as "quite a complicated count."
It is expected a full distribution of preferences will be undertaken before a result is certain.
