1 min read

A 19-year-old man has been remanded in custody after being charged with two burglaries in Warragul last week.
Police allege the man entered an Albert St house at about 1pm on Monday, September 8 as two people slept inside.
One woke after hearing sounds in the hallway and followed a man in dark clothing into the garage.
The two residents attempted to locate the man after leaving the property without success.
At about 1.45pm, a North Rd resident received a security camera notification whilst away from their house. They rang police after observing a man unsuccessfully attempting to enter the house via a doggy door.
As a result, police intercepted and arrested a 19-year-old Mt Eliza man in North Rd. Police allege he was in possession of passports from the Albert St house.
In addition to the aggravated burglary and attempted burglary, police allege the man was linked to a car theft and a petrol drive off in Bairnsdale on Sunday, September 8 as well as unlicensed driving.
The car, reported stolen from Coles in Bairnsdale, was located in Normanby St at 7.30am.
Police said the man was charged and remanded in custody. He is set to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court on October 13.
