Half a century of service to the Returned Services League by Noel Tucker has been recognised with the presentation of two major honours.
Mr Tucker, already a life member of the Warragul RSL sub-branch, last week received an RSL meritorious medal and certificate for outstanding service and a certificate for continuous membership of the organisation for 50 years.
A Vietnam veteran, Mr Tucker served nine years as president and six years as treasurer of the Warragul RSL.
The presentations were made by sub-branch member Ron Blair at the Vietnam Veterans Day commemorative service in Warragul.
