After a long wait, passengers on the Gippsland line will be able to catch a train every 40 minutes now that line upgrade works have reached completion.
Announced by Minister for Transport Infrastructure and Public and Active Transport Gabrielle Williams at the Longwarry railway station last Friday, the completion of the Gippsland line upgrade will enable more than 80 additional weekly train services along the rail corridor.
A new timetable will begin on Sunday September 14 and will include 55
